Maximum Business Profit – Marketing, Money and Social Web at BiztechDay.com
You fancy profit, don’t you? And you probably like social media and marketing? I do, too! While searching for information on how to connect the social web to small business, I stumbled upon a link to Biztechday.com. What an extraordinary concept! I was excited to see the list of highly qualified speakers and equally compelling topics for the event. The lineup includes Tim Ferris (fourhourworkweek.com), Megan Casey(squidoo.com), Christine Comaford (best-selling author and angel investor) and many other Web 2.0 entrepreneurs.
The melding of technology, social web and classic marketing is where business is headed and if you are not on the bus, you’re standing on the curb. However, this isn’t a Greyhound bus – you just can’t buy a ticket jump on – you must educate yourself! As a small business owner, you’re the driver and passenger. Oh, and guess what: If your a Blogger, then you are a business owner. You’re in the advertising business and the attendees of BiztechDay are your future customers.
If you doubt the longevity of social media, then I recommend that you read my commentary on “How Cisco Tried to Make Routers Sexy. . .Using Social Media ". This is an article originally written by Lidija Davis of ReadWriteWeb. In the article, Lidija outlines the Cisco’s plan to market their latest product using every social web angle imaginable.
Where to Go?
BiztechDay, business and technology for the day (Oct 25th 2008) 8a.m. – 6p.m. (plus
post event parties). BizTechDay is being held at the Hilton San Francisco hotel . I want to attend so badly that I am considering the sale of either my golf clubs or my eldest child to fund my trip to the event.
I look forward to seeing you there!
