Blogging – Ingredient Update, Cash Give Away

image

I messed up! I posted my mini-contest yesterday for massive amounts of cash in exchange for your comments on the strangest food ingredient that you could find( Mine was defatted wheat germ). Massive cash, in this case,  being loosely defined as $20.

I feel really bad because the comments were closed on my site.I guess the last time we updated WordPress it changed the comment status somehow. Hmm, I was wondering why I haven’t seen any comments but I thought maybe my recent articles were crap or something.

So, in effort to make it up to you I’m going to double your money from $20 to $40. The rules remain the same but the award amount is now $40. Here are the rules from the last post:

The rules are as follows:

  1. You must post a comment or send me a tweet ( http://twitter.com/robertmstanley ) with your ingredient
  2. You must have a PayPal Account (So I can pay you)
  3. You cant tell my wife I gave you $40 (particularly for something this ridiculous)

The way in which I determine the winner will be totally subjective and 100% up to me (sorry, no votes). I will post the winner along with a few other interesting submissions as runner-ups. I don’t have second or third place prizes but I am open to suggestions.

  1. woohoo 40 bucks! I wont tell the wife :)
Every morning starts with a cold Mountain Dew and one of the ingredients is erythorbic acid. It says after it that it preserves freshness. Maybe its just me but “acid” and “freshness” dont fall into the same category.

  2. LOL, Excellent Comment! I agree that Acid and Freshness don’t jive. Thanks for playing! SO far you are the only entry and default winner but there is still more time. Good luck to you!
