What did President Bush mean by americans should embrace the outsourcing of their jobs to india?

outsourcing
ron j asked:

While visiting India, president Bush gave a speech at at one point said americans should embrace the outsourcing of their jobs instead of trying to fight it. What did he mean by that?

and what did he mean while visiting China, when he told them not to worry…and that even though democrats had won the 2006 election that good jobs would continue to come to them from the USA?

he is a Manchurian candidate!,.Bush and Republicans have agreed to the following, and the policies below have resulted in the biggest illegal transfer of wealth this country has ever seen as well as erosion of the constitution. Thanks alot.

1. Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton

2. Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush’s Daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him, and a bad guy when Bush needed a “we can’t find Bin Laden” diversion.
3. Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is Communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.
4. The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.
5. A woman can’t be trusted with decisions about her own body, but multinational drug corporations can make decisions affecting all
mankind without regulation.
6. The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in speeches, while slashing veterans’ benefits and combat pay.
7. If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won’t have sex.
8. A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our longtime allies, then demand their cooperation and money.
9. Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy, but providing health care to all Americans is socialism. HMO’s and insurance companies have the best interests of the public at heart.
10. Global warming and tobacco’s link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in schools.
11. A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense, but a president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.
12. Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.
13. The public has a right to know about Hillary’s cattle trades, but George Bush’s driving record is none of our business.
14. Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you’re a conservative radio host. Then it’s an illness and you need our prayers for your recovery.

15. Supporting “Executive Privilege” for every Republican ever born, who will be born or who might be born (in perpetuity.
16. What Bill Clinton did in the 1960’s is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the ’80’s is irrelevant.

He was talking to India, not to America. He didn’t mean anything. It was all PR.

He meant that they should embrace the poverty wage jobs they will have to accept to replace the jobs that they lost because some CEO needed a million dollar raise.

He meant that the US would wind up with a better educational system than before, lol.

“Mr. Bush also strongly defended the outsourcing of American jobs to India, which he described as the reality of a global economy.

“Losing a job is traumatic,” Mr. Bush said. “It’s difficult. It puts a strain on our families. But rather than respond with protectionist policies, I believe it makes sense to respond with educational policies to make sure that our workers are skilled for the jobs of the 21st century.”

Do you have a source for your statement? I don’t doubt you, but everybody’s slinging hash these days so some proof is needed.

I guess we could base what you say partly on circumstantial evidense. Many of us have seen Bush say ion the film Farinheiht 9/11 to a well heeled crowd, “You are my support base.” He does pander to the wealthy and ignores the deaths and misery his policies cause, which in the end are for the enrichment of his “base”
But let us not forget that it was Bill CLinton who got NAFTA through Congress and signed and that has been the base for exporting factories because if offshore goods had to pay a tax like they used to, then there would be no purpose to moving your shoe factory to Indonesia.

Here’s a thought for you:

If Hillary Clinton gets elected then only 2 families will have run this country for 24 years and if she gets elected and re-elected that will be 2 families running this country for 28 years. Think about it.

Plain and simple, he was saying Americans had better accept their jobs going to others in a foreign country and those in foreign countries had nothing to fear from him, concerning him being a cog in the wheel! George W. Bush said, Foreign workers are better at some jobs than the American worker! Course….Foreign presidents are better at doing their jobs (representing their country and citizens), so what’s the point? The truth is George W. Bush is an idiot, that was elected in controversy and anything except a free and fair election! Counting some votes, throwing other votes out hardly counts as what is guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution! What is amazing is George W. Bush and his low-approval rating at this time! Why was it higher in the past? He has been a silver-spoon born spoiled brat since day one, that does not have enough brains to come in out of the rain! He was not presidential material and his legacy of lies and disasters prove it beyond a reasonable doubt! Whoever voted for him needs to look themselves in the mirror and try and determine how long they have been disabled from a mental illness and why, before they once again hop back in the voting booth and further elect another moron to further destroy America and its future! America has met the enemy, it is within our society! It is an ill-informed voter, who cannot tell the difference between day and night! America is in its demise due to this process repeating itself election after election! America and its people have become its own worst enemy….in the voting booth on election day! People incapable of sensible and logical thought and reasoning, do not make good voters! Popularity contests do not make good government!
